Evening Community Taiji Qigong

Invigorate your weekly self-care routine with the ancient movement art of Qigong for health. 


We meet at 6:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening for a grounding, challenging, light-hearted time of regenerative movement.

  • For In-Person classes, we are family friendly for children 12 years old and up
  • Wear comfortable, soft, flexible clothing

The Free Qi Initiative

Qi Up Academy (QUA) has collaborated with Orcanit Wellness, the Wudang West Cultural Heritage Center (WDWCHC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit Daoist wellness ministry, and East Bay Church of Religious Science (EBCRS), a 501(c)(3) extension of Centers for Spiritual Living, to launch the Free Qi Initiative in the Oakland Bay Area! With Wudang West's fiscal sponsorship and EBCRS's space, we are cultivating a network of FREE natural health and wellness offerings for the most vulnerable.

Qi Up Like Zumbi

Renowned Bay Area rapper  Zumbi was a dedicated meditator and Taiji Qigong practitioner. He was tragically snatched from our community during his time of greatest need. He will always be remembered as our fallen kungfu brother and honored through this academy.
